Bought this album as it was going cheap, but people kept telling don't buy, as Ritchie Blackmore is no longer a great rock guitar god that he was with Deep Purple, but someone who would be more suited to play in a band like The Corrs with a mix of Clannad, well played it, and was quite surprised, the opening track "Written In The Stars" a pretty good rocky song, the next track "The Times They Are A Changin'" could as i was told fit on a Corrs album, next track "I Still Remember" a good song with a sort of eastern feel to it, which no bad thing IMO, then things start to go down hill, apart from "The Storm" which is worth a mention, the rest of the album with the exception of the very good title track, which has some really vocals by Candice Night, and Ritchie Blackmore doing what he does best in the middle of this track, playing a good electric guitar solo, all in all apart from a few songs, not my cup of tea, but if i see another Blackmore's Night album Going for a fiver or less i'll give it a go, as i might find some good alternative rock songs, as with "Fire's At Midnight"Read full review
