Jefferson Airplane is one of the Greats of the sixties! With Grace Slick and her signature style of singing, along with Marty Balin, have made history! The group as a whole has explicit talent for creativity and the footage seen during these performances is a must have! Jack Cassidy, on bass with Jorma on leads set the stage for some of the best instrumental jams ever performed! This DVD is a must have for any fans of this great band! Fly Jefferson Airplane, it'll get you there on time!
It's great to see and hear some of the music from this truly gifted 1960's band. The footage from Monterey Pop Festival, "somebody to love" & "high flyin' bird", are the best on the DVD, especially high flyin' bird. I wish there was more footage of the band playing with their awesome light show that was such of big part of the live experience of Jefferson Airplane. In any case, I'm just thankful that any of their music has been preserved in this way.
this is for those who were fans of the Jefferson Airplane. quality reflects the technology of the time. reasonable value as didnt cost alot. i enjoyed it. having two versions of the same song in succession, and not a big hit was a bit much though
