This first offering provides a good example of what to expect from this Texas trio. They offer a unique combination of harmonies and speed metal. They bridge 80's classic rock with 90's metal unlike any other band. They are unpredictable and fun, but also rock for a reason. If you want an ample sample, Sea of Tranquility remains a fan favorite. It provides a sampling of speed changes, almost sounding like two songs spliced into one. This band has a social conscience. The subject matter runs the political gammut. Speak to Me and Someone for Everyone have deep spiritual implications that everyone should consider. This band is positive and encouraging, though still down to earth and honest. They tackle tough subjects lyrically and are quite creative musically. Other later efforts are somewhat hit and miss. Every cd has good songs, but of course some cd's have more hits than others.Read full review
Great band, awesome CD.... A must have.. Had this CD years ago after the band broke up. They recently got back together for a TX tour and it rekindled my love for the band.. This CD came out in 1991 and was way ahead of it's time
Not the best in the GC catalog, but still an amazing, must-have album that includes some of their best songs--the harmonica-laced headbanger I'm Not Amused, the progressive Sea of Tranquility, and the spiritual Speak to Me.
