It's a real treat to buy a CD When Dave Lombardo Is the Drummer especially playing the Skins with a band like Testament This CD is a must buy for all metal fans as it's not often that you will get The Mighty Dave Lombardo to play drums on an album other than a Slayer album Vocalist Chuck Billy and Lead Guitarist Eric Peterson Are very fortunate to have had the Chance to put this masterpiece together with Dave Drumming.
After hearing Testament's previous album, "Demonic", I wasn't sure what to expect from them. Or if I'd even enjoy it. Demonic was a little too close to death metal for my taste. But, The Gathering is classic Testament! One of the best metal albums to come down the pipeline in a while! Great album from a great band!!!
great album, in this album the drums sound super cool, this transaction was very nice and super easy....
What else can you say. It's classic Testament. Testament at their very best. Powerful riffs and screaming vocals.
Criminally overlooked album. Perfection from beginning to end with highlight including 'True Believer" and'Allegience' Heavy,angry and aggressive throughout with a perfect ammount of melody and harmony thrown in to make this a must have album
