Mostly Autumn have been through a few personnel changes over the last few months and now comprise Bryan Josh (vocals, guitars, keyboards), Heather Findlay (vocals, piano, percussion), Olivia Sparnenn (harmony vocals), Anne-Marie Helder (harmony vocals, flute), Andy Smith (bass guitar), Henry Bourne (drums), while Troy Donockley makes another guest appearance on the album with Uilleann pipes, and whistles, as well as string arrangement. The result is a very impressive piece of work... the band have progressed considerably and this is probably the best album since the outstanding 2nd album 'Spirit of Autumn Past' with so many different and new elements. Amazing Josh tunes and guitars, still slightly Floydian in places - yet very Mostly Autumn - the highlight of the album for me is the evolution of Heather's voice and song-writing talent which is aptly demonstrated in the beautiful song 'Above the Blue' dedicated to her late grandfather Matthew and the angel that is I.L. Superb - well done Mostly Autumn.Read full review
A change in personel, but Mostly Autumn stiil retain the magic. I am looking forward to seeing them play live again in mid July. Some tracks showing a leaning towards thier Pink Floyd influenzes, but the way they work acoustic instruments into a rock background is really evident on this album. As I am collecting thier material this is as good as thier previous offerings
