Although I like the I Am The Morning albums - especially Belighted and Lighthouse - I mainly bought this solo effort for the 2 collaborations with Steve Hogarth of Marillion. The second of these, The Best of Days, is fine. On Confluence, the other Hogarth track, the voice is barely audible on CD, unlike on the Youtube video. Disappointing. The remainder of the album consists of lively, accomplished keyboard/piano instrumentals by Gleb which are agreeable but I'd prefer more with vocals- although Mick Moss and Jordan Rudess (Porcupine Tree) contribute to two other tracks. The digipack and booklet packaging are attractive. Overall, 3 to 3.5 rated, though it might grow on me with further plays.
