Bought this as a bit of nostalgia TBH. Only one track of any quality stands out - "Taking the veil" - features fretless bass in the style of Mick Karn but not Mick Karn (RIP sir) - the others are there to create an ambiance and atmosphere which doesn't really go anywhere. Some are just recycling old Japan material and samples. If you've read Mick Karn's autobiography you'll be aware that Sylvian is a control freak who's not open to the contributions of others - if he wants to move on, rather than regurgitating imitation second rate, failed Japan covers, he really should learn to listen to others. Listen to this and you'll see who the real talented musicians were. Don't buy it though...

I should have done my home work. A great album and worth the money. Excellent for those not interested in the ambient 2nd disc of the original. There are four missing tracks. I've just ordered the later 2cd version but this is still a good selection.

Good David Sylvian album

Really fabulous sound even after all this time. Constant little surprises with almost every rhythm - I defy anyone not to fall in love with Silver Moon. David Sylvian is a genius.
Just awesome, love to sit back with the headphones on with this cd, some very haunting soothing, mellow tracks. One of my favourite by this Artist.
