I have this on now, and have had it, and others, for a number of years. The last time I listened to the cassette, the music and vocals was faint and crackly. CDs are a much better format and last for years. Moreover, the sound is much clearer. I have never had any problem with CDs. That said, I am extremely lucky and fortunate to have this and other bands on CD where I will have many long hours of play that will last a great number of years. The prices of those I have seen fall in under $10.00, case that allows me and easier opportunity to buy ore of my favorites on CD. I have an affinity to 60s Pop culture, since I was born during that decade and raised on music from that era. it brings me home. Anyone considering on buying 60s music, this will not leave you disappointed. You will find yourself happy listening to these and being transported back in time when this music was all the rage.Read full review

I purchased the Santana Greatest Hits CD because it contained Oye Como Va, Black Magic Woman and Evil Ways. The cost was good and I personally love the CD as it meets my needs. I will mention that it reads as follows on the back: It says on the back of the CD that it has been digitally transferred onto Compact Disc to obtain the best possible reproduction from the original master. Because of the high resolution, however the Compact Disc can reveal limitations of the tape source.
Great value!
