After disbanding The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Jimi formed Band of Gypsies with Billy Cox on bass and Buddy Miles on drums. This live recording from New Years Eve 1969 captured one of my favorite Hendrix tracks... Machine Gun. It takes me away every time I listen to it. Jimi's amazing talent is on display throughout the entire song and it never ever gets old, at least not for me. So glad to have it in my humble collection.
