This is truly wicked fusion, the best I have heard in years. I realize that the song is dated but hearing it again makes it sound fresh and new. The beats in the song and the trumpet are rhapsodic and incredible. This little CD will definitely pick you up if you are feeling blue (or if you're feeling nostalgic for a sound that is unique) !
This is a great CD. The songs have a hip, jazzy feel. Cantaloop (flip Fantasia) is the song that made me want this CD, in fact, it's the first track. Many of the songs are good too. The music sounds fresh and new. I disagree with what Rolling Stone said about the CD completely.
Decent music, I like the combination of Jazz with some hiphop/rap. Fun to listen to, yet there are a few swear words here and there that I don't like, but overall it's a decent Cd.
