Notes
Peter Herbst started out life, lo these many years ago, as a singer-songwriter playing in the clubs of Boston. But fate took a hand and he ended up being the pop music critic for the Boston Herald, the music editor of the Boston Phoenix, and then the music editor of Rolling Stone. After the beloved magazine he edited, Premiere, the movie magazine, folded in 2007 Herbst returned to his greatest passion -- writing and singing his own songs. And now he had a lifetime of experience to draw on, and a better understanding of song craft, and so he produced the best material of his life. This is classic folk-rock, crisp and clean, with hook-filled songs that tell indelible stories. Stories worth sharing.
