This is clean pop-punk with little distortion and some harmonization. It is not snotty like Brit-punk nor thrashy. The lyrics are encouraging and heartfelt. These guys are pretty talented, creative and somewhat daring. Every song is good. There are lyrics of spiritual longing, yet they don't come across preachy. For fans of Relient K and Toby Mac. Even though the title-track intro is a little cheesy, I can see why this clap-along is a fan fav. There are some very relational songs, like Eggshells, Alive, Shaken, & Final Toast. They also show a playful side with Ode to Lord Stanley. There are also some very basic mid-tempor rockers that I find surprisingly good, such as Long Ago. Never Enough & Job rock. The hymn remake, complete with bagpipes, comes off well also.
