After watching Timothy Treadwell's Grizzly Man Diaries on Animal Planet, the hauntingly beautiful guitar music would stay in my head for days ! I found the soundtrack and bought it immediately. Richard Thompson's music resonates with life .. deep, rich and full, and his sad rat-a-tat drumbeats on Glencoe echo as a death march for Treadwell coming to the end of his journey with the bears.
It's a sorry way to get a great recording made (being eaten), but Richard gives a sense of dignity and a memorial sound track. Captivating is a word I choose to describe this CD, give a listen and get hooked!
Absolutely beautiful and haunting. Can't get it out of my mind. The music seems so natural, it's interwoven with the film and the emotions the film conjures up. Richard Thompson has made a masterpiece.
The cd was great, but "Coyote" alone was worth the price. That song was played on local talk radio and there were repeated request to pay it again
