Peter Gabriel is such a good singer - he is often overlooked because he makes it look so easy. A good 2 CD set. DISC 1: 1. Solsbury Hill 2. Shock The Monkey 3. Sledgehammer 4. Don't Give Up 5. Let me say that I already had Peter Gabriel's Greatest Hits (Shaking the Tree) so I was a bit hesitant in getting this collection. But "In Your Eyes" and some of his newer stuff like "Digging In the Dirt" and "Steam" were absent on the other disc, so I bought it. Great CD! Peter Gabriel is a master. There are some songs on here that I had never heard of, but if you like his other stuff you will enjoy these as well. "Lovetown" from Philedelphia Soundtrack was a nice surprise. The only down side is one of my favorite PG songs, "Mercy Street", is not included. But well worth the money by all means. This is one of those albums that you go back to again and again when all the other cds you own seem played out.
Peter Gabriel never seeks to amaze with his endless creativity. I don't say this just to be complementary because Gabriel has had a steady stream of hits and going in completely new musical directions (this is what is most lacking in modern pop, it's all formulaic now!). He has even got his family involved, as if to let us know none of them are giving up on the public, now or in the future!

Great anthology of Gabriel's work. Similar to Greatest Hits and Plays LIVE. One song that is surprisingly absent is "I Have The Touch" Too important of a song (included and/or covered on various motion picture soundtracks over the years) to be left off.
Like new, even great sleeve for the CD case. 2cd set
