I purchased this CD mainly because I love the song "I've Been Watching You" but after playing it just once I have to say Great Job to Rodney Atkins. Both of my sons (3 and 5) love the Watching You song and will sing it with my husband anytime it comes on. I don't know if Rodney is a new artist or not but judging from this CD he will be around for some time to come. If You're Going Thru Hell is another great song ...give this CD (and artist) a try!
What a great album! As my 3yr. old son says "I love the buckaroo song!" It's a special song that he and I have shared over the past few months and made this CD, worth it for me. However, the remaining songs on this album are also very good. From his first single (and the title track) 'If you're going through hell', to 'Cleaning this gun' which is a fun look at a father's reaction to his daughter's boyfriends. It's very rare that I like every track on a CD, but this is one of the few exceptions. Well Done!
Rodney Atkins is truly an amazing country singer and he is double better in concert but I love Rodney not only for his looks but mainly for the face he sings to the people he wants to please his fans and he sings songs that everyone can relate to. He is from Tennessee and is the most down to earth singer. I will own all his music on oct 4th when his new cd take a back road comes out I've already per-ordered my autographed cd so excited
