I purchased this new, and paid only $5.69, with free shipping. However, I was aware of what it was. It is DP revisiting their 1969 jam, with the London Sym, at the Royal Albert. Here is 1999, with the Steve Morse, on guitar. If sound were heat, this performance would set fire to your drapes, fog your TV, slid across your coffee table, and rape your cat! One of their Best songs, from the Morse residency, "Sometimes, I Feel Like Screaming" is a highlight, but the ten minute, "Pictures Of Home" is...MIND BLOWN! Still in business, since '68, but they don't play the U.S. much, as Corp Radio has denied them proper airplay, for years....They are still Gods in Europe, and Japan! This was really a great dvd concert with great sound and image quality. I very amazed to see my favorite rock stars again after 30 years to keep rocking again. My favorite parts are with my great artist Ronnie James Dio perfoming on Sitting in a Dream and love is all. Simply a great perfomance from all the rock artists along with the great London Symphony Orchestra.
Do you want to hear and see the most beutiful and magical song ever performed on this planet? "Pictured Within" on this DVD is such a song. GUARANTEED. Utter perfection. Unsurpassed by anyone at anytime. Cannot be overstated. Jon Lord's masterpiece. Please see and hear it or your life is incomplete.
I brought this product to compare with the original dvd I had the sound and quality of the dvd is great. it was quite good to see then play years later deep purple still sound it the same. I recommed it to any deep purple friends to purcharse it.
This is a wonderful DVD. Quality is perfect, sound is wonderful and the clarity is like being in the Albert Hall. A great show - it is like being at the concert.
