  • QUEEN - INNUENDO (the most beautiful Queen album)

Innuendo, last Queen album with Freddie alive! Great album that takes you thru a trip of true emotions. If you like music, you're really have to listen to it! I haven't heard an album of this quality in a long time. The most notable feature about it is the personal element to it - the four members of the band drew upon what was going on around them for inspiration - mainly, of course, Freddie's impending demise. There is some element of this in the lyrics to most of the songs here. Only a few, like All God's People and The Hitman have no personal element at all. Also, the order of the songs is absolutely perfect here; every song fits perfectly into place. Out of the millions of possible orders for these twelve songs, I don't believe there is one that is better ...

  • Swan song of a dying man.

When you look at the breadth of work from Queen, Innuendo might not be your top choice, but it should get an honorable mention. The album has a hint of old (Going Slightly Mad, a touch of the heavy (Headlong), and a touch of Class (The Show must go on). All this coming from a man and a band that knew he was dying. Vocally this is a stunning performance from Freddy Mercury, Not to mention the guitar work, in particular the song Bijou. With one of the finest rythm sections in rock doing what they do best. It is my opinion that there is enough of the old harmonies as well as new techniques to please all.

  • Innuendo

My first memory of this album was listening to it in long car journeys with my Dad driving fast like a mad man singing 'Headlong' loudly out of the car window. It's such a great album and is so emotive because it sums up where Freddy Mercury was at the time of its release. I personally like 'I'm going slightly mad' but the best song is probably 'Innuendo'. I'm not too sure about 'All God's people' and 'Delilah', the rest of the album's great though.

  • Going Slightly Mad, or Slightly Brilliant?

This album is put together very nicely. A true Queen fan does not need to be persuaded to own this album, because the mastery of it clearly shines through! Near the end of Mercury's life, he secretly wrote about his personal health struggles and mental issues he was having incorporating them into his song writing abilities. Freddie pushed through all of them and took it to another level. You can clearly hear it in the words of the song, "Show Must Go On". Buy this album!

  • QUEEN FAN SINCE 1975

Queen's last album before Freddy Mercury past away. This album reminds of their album " A Night At The Opera" Fantastic!!
