Even though this album has been out for years, I heard it for the first time just last December. It has three of my favorite songs that are seldom covered: Christmas Island, Run Rudolph Run, and Happy Xmas (War is Over). The only negative I can offer is the goofy album art.
It was the Christmas season, I like Jimmy Buffett, so I bought the Christmas Island CD. Jimmy added his own special touch to some Christmas favorites and then through in few island type songs to top things off. I was very pleased with the CD, and await patiently Jimmy's 2007 tour.
Being a Jimmy Buffett fan I have to say that this is one of my favorite CD's at Christmas Time. This is actually the third CD I have purchased. The first one I wore out and the second one I gave to my daughter. Now, this one is to replace the one I wore out. Very upbeat and alot of fun for all Parrotheads.
