Great debut from IWABO showing where they are and where they want to go musically. It does sound a bit digital but compared to most debuts is very well mixed and stands up to repeated listens thanks in part to the bands cut and paste songwriting and Krysta Cameron's schizophrenic vocals style. A breath of fresh air for people burned out on breakdown heavy, muddy sounding metal and deathcore this band has more in common with The Dillinger Escape Plan,Between The Buried and Me and Converge than Whitechapel,Emmure or Suicide Silence and this album promises even more diverse and eclectic albums to come.Heavy on electronica and ambient influences this ep is one of the most diverse in my massive collection. Support forward moving musicians and buy it.
I bought this CD because I've been a fan for a couple years now and I also like to collect cd's. The cd shows their early signs of doing that experimental/techy feel they have in their "It's All Happening" CD. It's worth a buy if you're a IWABO fan.
No disappointment with this band. Every member in this band has unbelievable talent. Hard hitting bass drops with loud screaming but not just loud screaming Krysta Cameron has a wide range of vocal ability. The drummer is phenomenal as well of the rest of the band.
The music is amazing and really tight. Awesome all around. They also have a sense of humor which is always a plus. Very talented musicians, not to mention an awesome vocalist who's roar/screaming is awesome!
I've got the band on my itunes, but there's just something about buying a cd to have in your car that makes it more enjoyable. Yeah i've got my ipod, which is convenient enough to hook up, but i guess i'm just a huge fan of cds still. So i purchased c:
