What a great treat it must have been for those who were lucky to be at The Fillmore East on New Year's Eve ('69-'70) to see Jimi Hendrix and his bandmates. The CD includes the great song "Machine Gun" and many more. One can get a sense that Jimi was at or near his best. The great live performance was captured superbly in this CD with loud audience responses and an overall terrific sound quality.

I lve this album, it really shows jimi for his playing guitar skills, I have every album and I love the other ones, but I always find my-self going back to these great songs, Machine Gun is one to be heard, probably my favorite song of all time, and them changes is also a great one, if your a hendrix fan or just a fan of great electric guitar playing, you must have this album now! Fly on!
I purchased this item for a co-worker. It was perfect in condition and it played in great clarity he loved it and cranked it up all weekend. The reason I purchased it for him was that he told me he had a hard time finding this perticular album and asked for me to find it and purchase it which I did and the price was right also. Classic rockers this is a must have for your collection.
This is probably one of the best albums that Jimi made... band of gypsys 2 is also excellent.
