This dvd is good, above average. You can always count on WWE to milk a dvd, this was released I believe before HBK's retirement match with Undertaker at Mania. The matches are great, of course they would be with the best wrestler ever. So i'll just mention what I didnt like. -I'm not a fan of matches in between the documentary -Michael Cole to me is not a good choice to do the interview with HBK, he just laughs whenever HBK does. It's not a natural flow, matt striker is really good at these (watch his rey mysterio interview) -Repetitive from HBK's first 3 disc dvd that wwe put out. It's still a good dvd, but I wouldnt pay more than $10 for it including shipping.
Just like the previously-released DVD set, "Heartbreak & Triumph", this 2010 title, "My Journey" again traces the storied career of professional wrestling legend Shawn Michaels. In this revealing DVD set, Shawn is seen on-screen in a one-on-one sit-down discussion with WWE broadcaster Micheal Cole. Together, they discuss and trace this legacy that started back in 1985, and continues just as strong to this very day. One of his earliest matches as a singles competitor was against the One Man Gang. Later, he would team up with partner Marty Janetty to form the tag team known as the Rockers. This team would face such teams as the Nasty Boys, the Brain Busters and the Hart Foundation. Starting in January 1992, he would begin a highly successful singles career that would take him to unparalleled heights in the sport. Among his opponents shown in this DVD, from 1992 to 1998, are Bret Hart, Sid Vicious, British Bulldog, 1-2-3 Kid, Mick Foley and the Undertaker. After nearly 4 years away, he returned back in 2002, picking up where he left off. from 2003 to 2009, he would take on such individuals as Chris Jericho, Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Triple H and Randy Orton. One of the real highlights of this release is a fatal four-way match for the WWE Championship between four of the greatest superstars of the past decade: Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Edge and John Cena. This bout would take place on April 29th, 2007 at the WWE Backlash pay-per-view event. There is no doubt that Shawn Michaels remains the Main Event, Icon, Showstopper, Headliner, Mr. Wrestlemania, the Heartbreak Kid. No matter what you call him, he still remains a vital force in professional wrestling.Read full review
If you’re interested in 90s WWE, then it’s for you. But I was expecting it to be in such good condition for only three dollars and it was in immaculate condition so I appreciate that.
