You can always tell an Alan Douglas produced CD/LP. They are usually are collection of hits and every once in awhile a rare track or 2. Sound quality is good And if you get passed his sometime doctoring the background players and singers. You are not disappointed. A good starter CD for those just starting collecting Hendrix.

This is an album from 1984, that is very hard to find now, but it is very good, I must say. The songs " I Don't Live Today", "Red House", and "Stepping Stone" on it are different versions that I have not seen anywhere else. Those three songs make this album a very excellent find, since you cannot get them anywhere else as of right now. The other songs are very good, but you can get them on other albums. So if you want to have a complete Jimi Hendrix catalog, you need this album.
Addition to my Hendrix collection.

My favorite album.

I got exactly what was advertised. A weathered cover, but a playable disc. I purchased this release only for the mix of "Steppin' Stone", considered the best version. It's on another compilation, but mixed too loudly.
