When I first heard this release (high school mid 80's), I was blown away. This late 1960s (formed in 1969) band got their start around the same time as Floyd and Sabbath and Zeppelin and they have been playing in the hard rock, at times metal vein for years, but never really achieved the same level of success as their contemporaries. And I think that is a shame because these guys have always rocked! This great cd starts out with a typical middle-eastern style ("Gypsy") and is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, the best track of the album. Other highlights of the album include "Lady in Black", "Easy Livin'" (my second favorite tune by them) followed by slower more romantic tracks like "Lonely Nights" and "Come Back to Me". All in all this cd is a delight to any hard rock listeners ears and should definitely find its way into a growing musical collection of someone who is big time into the 70's musical era.Read full review
