There are many rock bands that will be remembered. AC/DC, Black Sabbath, INXS, The Ramones, and especially Led Zeppelin. This documentary features Led Zeppelin performing in a 3-night concert at Madison Square Garden during the summer of 1973. (Shots of 1973 NYC skyline are used here to great effect.) However, it also features various fantasy sequences that are elaborate, multiple background shenanigans that the band members engage in when they're not performing, and even a mere glimpse of the business side of things and what such a side of such a large touring operation will entail. Recommended for all Led Zeppelin fans as well for those trying to break into the rock band business.
I bought it because I am a Led Zeppelin freak or their music. I used to have the movie and gave it away . I bought it for a friend, and a bunch of us watched it together. She had been to that 1973 concert at the Garden. How nostalgic!! The movie could show more of in concert than other things it showed. , but with the unique voice of Robert Plant and the great guitarist of Jimmy Page, there is no comparing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had this movie when it first came out and remembered the great guitar playing in it. I just took up the guitar again and really find it helpful.I was really heppy to find it.
Brings back memories of watching it when it was first released on the big screen. A must have for the Led Zeppelin fan!
Remember '73? Too much dope, war ended, loves still free, the begining of the end, pendulum swings high and here we are now, thanks for film!
