Marillion was at the top of their game in 1987 when they played this concert, during their Clutching At Straws tour. The performances are crisp and exciting, and it is fun to watch an audience so clearly into the band and so knowledgable about the lyrics. There is also something very empowering about a lead singer who is balding and has a beer belly...but still has the chops. Fish is a one of a kind singer, with one of the great voices in Prog Rock. In short, if you enjoy Yes, Genesis, King Crimson, Gentle Giant, or any of the British Progressive Rock bands of the early to mid 70s, this is a good insight into where the music went into the mid to late 80s. This is probably the best live performance recorded of Marillion of the Fish Era. Surprinsingly the sound and picture are better than the original tape. The only missing thing is that they could have added some extras to it. But anyway is good we finally got the DVD. Fans must have it for is in limited quantities and probaly for the last time.
