I walked the full length of the Yakima River Canyon one evening, in shorts and tennis shoes thinking I would get a ride hitchhiking. Well it didn't happen and I had a cassette player handheld old school with Bowie's Low in it. I got kind of spooked a couple times with the rustling in the bushes of coyotes and other critters, I turned the volume way up and aimed the cassette player speaker with 'Subterraneans' and 'Weeping Wall' to scare them away. I ended up in an outhouse about 4 in the morning at a county park by the Yakima, cold, burning newspaper just outside the door, then realizing the futility I hoofed onward and finally got a ride about a mile from the Ellensburg side of the canyon.... What a walk, This album sticks in my mind as some of Bowie's best work. Looking forward to receiving 'Fashion' soon...Read full review

I have been a David Bowie, fan for 40years and I love his Berlin, period. Low, is actually my favorite out of the 3 album's. I love every song on this album. The instrumental music is so hauntingly beautiful. David Bowie, was always ahead of his time. This album is just as relevant as it was the day it was released. If you are new to to David Bowie, this is a must have CD. The instrumental music on this album is hauntingly beautiful as for the rest of the album it has a great beat and Awesome lyrics.

To me one od David Bowies best from 1977. I alway's like his song Fame but never bought any of his music or albums. When I found out Ian Curtis of Joy Division owmed this album and was a favorite I bought to see what it was about. My favorite was Speed Of Life but after careful listening to the words I could understand why he could relate to the album. It's a terrific album! Highly recommend the vinyl version is best but CD you cane take it in the car for car stereo enjoyment. One of the passages in one of the songs "In My Blue Room" Ian Had a special blue room in his home he wrote his music, and famous lyric's.

this album has cuts on it that are not steriotypical of what Bowie writes, but it is filled with experimental sounds with Brian Eno that changed the course of Bowie's future song writing and skills. I love this album and was glad to find this CD on ebay.
