i was watching 'the fighter' dvd and towards the end of it they played a song which turned out to be 'rock & roll stew' by traffic (it took me awhile to recognize it plus the credits helped too)...this cd release has one extra bonus track (which an extended-mono-single version of 'r&r stew'...while this disc has some rock beats the overall tone is jazzy with a high degree of artist(s) virtuosity...steve winwood, jim capaldi, jim gordon were top players...it sounds like they're just jamming, but it takes years of practice to achieve this sound and vibe...honestly i had forgotten about traffic & winwood until 'the fighter' brought back many hazy memories from the late 60's/early '70s...highly (no pun intended) recommended
