Notes
Lyrian was formed in 2006 by three wrinkled librarians to recapture the joys of youth. The band consists of John Blake (guitars, lead guitar and singing), Alison Felstead (bass guitars and singing) and Paul W. Nash (keyboards (Mellotron, Technics, synthesizers), guitars, flute, recorders, clarinet, percussion, programming and singing). Nightingale Hall is the band's first full-scale CD and is, of course, a concept album, gladdening the human heart with an hour and a quarter of prog-rock magnificence. The first pressing of 500 copies is issued in a hand-printed cover, with a three-colour wood-engraving by Nash.
