Queen had so many fantastic albums: Queen I, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, A Night At The Opera, Jazz, News of the World, Innuendo & more. Made in Heaven is mostly unfinished studio tracks Mercury was working on before his death. Reportedly, it took May years to try to assemble it into a somewhat coherent album. There is a lot of filler - instrumental space music at the end that sounds like a journey through the universe. The lyrics are abysmal - trite, cliched - every title has the word "love" in it. Freddie sounds like he's under the influence of drugs and possibly alcohol. His voice sounds strained. He wouldn't personally approve this for release. It reminds me of the cache of jams and experimental music Jimi Hendrix's estate released after his death - to cash in on it. I don't think Brian May did this for money - I believe he had good intentions, but aside from a song or two - this music is among the worst in the Queen catalog and should not have been released.Read full review
