This dude is so hard to classify, this really is almost a genre of metal within itself. Born in Sweden, guitarist Mattias "IA" Eklundh grew up with Zappa as his main influence (he actually said seeing Zappa perform live as a boy made him switch instruments from drums to guitar). His technique will also remind the listener of a hint of Steve Vai (in fact this cd was released on Vai's own label). The songs contained on this release run the gammet of styles and sounds, its so eclectic that I almost cannot describe it to you well enough. My best advice would be to buy it is your a Zappa or Steve Vai fan, because I'm sure you won't end up being disappointed.
