The melody at night, with you - perhaps his most intimate album - was recorded at his home studio, and is played with unmistakable affection. The material is comprised of solo piano renderings of traditional ballads and songs ("i got it bad and that ain't good," "someone to watch over me," "blame it on my youth/meditation"), all of which have personal significance for him.

    Melody at Night

    Keith Jarrett is a wonderful pianist. While he is mostly a jazz musician the songs on this CD are relaxing, beautiful, and unique renditions of familiar tunes. The CD arrived in good conditiion. No doubt, I will enjoy Mr. Jarrett's music for years to come.

    basically if you like jarrett's interaction with his own music you'll like this. moody, uplifting all the changes. just great playing, hard on the keys but that's him. if you're a fan you'll love it, if not you'll wonder what the fuss is about. I'm a fan...............

    The Melody at Night With You

    Beautifully recorded, Keith Jarrett plays through some very pretty standards, solo, in a very sensitive and delicate fashion. Great music in a meditative vein.
