I love Tori, so was excited when she finally made a "festive winter" album. (There isn't enough focus here to call it a Christmas Album) She does her interpretation of a few obvious holiday songs, and a few that are not so obvious, as well as some of her original work. I would have rated this album merely good, were it not for Silent Night With You. I cried the first time I heard it, and it still moves me everytime I hear it. Great for fans, and good all by itself.
Good CD. I'm glad to hear the harpsichord make a few more appearances. It definitely fits the whole 'winter' theme. I've always thought of Tori as a winter kind of woman. At least, white definitely is her color. (And flaming red hair, of course). The melodies are a lighter faire, not very deep or throaty as her other givings.
