Marcus Roberts can play a piece in two different music times! It was recommended by an article I read in a magazine that said that Marcus Roberts was one of Wynton Marsalis' favorite performers.
Marcus Roberts in my opinion is like keith jarrett al jareau thelonius monk and others-one of a kind that comes along only so often and i felt on this cd that his talent while good with the band setting more was watered down to fit the band. I don't know, something didn't satisfy me as much though i still enjoy listening to this phenomenal talent. Steve
