I first got The other side of the Mirror when it was released in 1989 5 years or so after her previous album, Rock a Little. This was her fourth studio album, and after the quick succession of her first three great albums earlier in the eighties there might have been a pent-up expectation that was hard to satisfy on first listen. Funny how things change with the passage of time. The Other side of the Mirror is more like Wild Heart, with less of the eighties stylings that distinguish (and maybe date) Rock a Little. All good Stevie that has just gotten better with rediscovery.

this cd must grow on you first because it is totally different from her previous albums (Bella Donna, Wild Heart and Rock a Little) which was according to me her best albums. this is not a bad album, nice cuts her are: long way to go, alice, doing the best i can and ghost, this album is in it's own genre and still remarkable stevie! the following albums she produced thereafter are also not in the league of the first 3 but also has it's own qualities
I really , just absolutely, love Listening , to Stevie Nicks Sing , and as always , all of her music catalogs are her Wonderful , best
