I am just recently discovering the amazing talent that is Camel. I love all kinds of Progressive Rock like King Crimson, Genesis, Yes, and Strawbs. I started a Facebook group called Pure Prog! and have been discovering so much new music. I have Camel's greatest hits on CD but wanted to expand my horizons with them. This is a great choice. I love that there are Bonus Tracks on this particular CD so I get extra music!! :) Get this CD as you will LOVE it!

After rumaging around through my old 33 1/3 LP's I found some albumns by Camel I hadn't heard in many years. After dusting them off and playing them on my turntable I decided I needed to get some of Camel's work on CD so I can listen to them in the car. Moonmadness was my first choice. I like the electronic and vocals. A nice mix of both without one overpowering the other. It is one of those rare albums I can listen to the whole thing without skipping songs. There are some live bonus tracks that are OK. Camel's sound in my opinion is better in the studio rather than live. Probably won't listen to the live tunes very often. But overall I really like this CD. The artwork is completely different from what is on the LP but that's OK too. My next Camel purcahse will be Snow Goose.
An underrated progressive rock album and band. Camel in general is a must hear band from the 70s that you owe it to yourself to hear if you love prog.

This album is flawless, top to bottom. Takes a few listens to digest all of it, but once you do, it is a journey. I don't like ALL of the bonus tracks, I'm not a bonus track sort of guy, BUT, the live tracks on this CD are worth listening too. Overall, Moonmadness is an album I recommend to ANY fan of progressive style music, and very glad I took a leap of faith on this one.
