'Morrison Hotel' is, of course, a brilliant album. The sound has been improved for the 40th edition with little details, that were excised originally, introduced into the mix. Additional content is fabulous as you get to hear 'Roadhouse Blues' taking shape step by step. Well worth it.

Morrison Hotel A re issue with additional bonus material of several songs. The songs published are the right choice, the outtakes are for serious Doors fans. The Doors went back to their blues roots. A very under rated album.

Excellent remastered sound quality. I love the Doors, however Morrison Hotel is not my favorite album by The Doors.

A far cry from their prior effort (Soft Parade); this is more of a "back-to-roots" album. This is probably the most powerful album by this "acid-rock" dominated group. The opening track (Roadhouse Blues) sets the tone for this piece of work. Morrison's voice is far more dominating than on "Soft Parade". I do strongly reccommend this album for any Door's fan or one who likes strong-beat RnR.
great remastering awesome sound and fantastic bonus cuts I love it
