2003 album from the co-founder of The Alan Parsons Project. Poe: More Tales Of Mystery And Imagination was the follow up to the original Poe-inspired Tales Of Mystery And Imagination album that launched the APP in 1976. Eric Woolfson revisited his hero Edgar Allan Poe and released this second volume of work in 2003. It took six years to make, cost over one million Euros using the top session musicians, 40-piece orchestra and 80 strong choir, recorded at Abbey Road Studios. Poe: More Tales of Mystery and Imagination contains some, but not all, of the songs from his musical Edgar Allan Poe.

Great album!
Great album. Eric Woolfson was an amazing songwriter. Only wish he did the vocals. He had a beautiful voice. I don't know why he had other people do the vocals. A well written album. It's such a shame he is no longer with us.

Interesting Follow Up to the Original
Distinctively different from the Alan Parson's original, but still an intriguing piece of music. A must for anyone who is a fan of the original work or a fan of Edgar Alan Poe. Recommended if you like music with a theme that is a little bit different and presented in the format of a musical.
