Unbeknownst to me until the 10th listen through of the CD, the album was performed exclusively by the lead singer of Number One Gun, Jeff Schneeweis. Originally, the title of the CD, "The North Pole Project" was the name of his side project, but he ended up taking the band title of "Number One Gun". This being said, this is by far the best CD I've ever listened to with only one performer in the whole band. The CD does not disappoint at any time in the CD. The swift, catchy melodies keep the songs in the forefront of your mind and on your tongue. The CD has quick and dance-worthy songs such as "Bad Habits", "Thank You Ending", "The Massacre", and "Find Your Escape". Then the CD has softer, more relaxing acoustic songs "The Different Ones", "I'll Find You" and a perfect sleep song "The Best of You and Me". Finally, the CD has a middle ground between these two music types in the songs, "Million", "Wake Me Up" and "This Holiday". Overall I gave the CD a 5 out of 5 because it does not have any cliche songs with boring choruses and the length of the CD (a mere 31 and a half minutes) will have you begging for more.Read full review
