Notes
Michael DeMichele is the main writer and producer of this home studio progressive rock collection of complicated and long music pieces which are guitar driven but also has vocal melody, keyboard passages and strong drumming by Simon Janis. The sound is well produced for a home studio and the musicianship is solid. There are some heavy concept song covering conspiracy theory, spirituality, and obscure mental concepts and ideas. So essentially prog as I am best to present it as a single musician and a little help from my friends. The songs are finished and complete with full 24 track digital production and were professionally mastered. The listener may pick up some musical elements of Yes, Rush, Dream Theater, The Flower Kings, and even Porcupine Tree, This CD has a good swatch of guitar playing with different sounds and textures as well as some neat vintage and modern synth sounds. Simon Janis holds down the rhythm section playing a large Pearl Studio kit as well as bringing in a lot of his personal percussion instruments to the sessions for some real interesting percussion, We love prog rock and this is our attempt to show the bit of talent we have and also show some appreciation for the music we live and love.
