this album has everything that you expect from Mastadon....just shorter songs no 'radio friendly' songs or 'singles' here fantastic & frantic drumming throughout.....heavy 'sludgy' guitar & bass.......not overthought in any sense, but not 'dumbed down' the songs on this record are long enough---but not too long as to be overthought or indulgent excellent production really captures the sounds of the band hitting on all cylinders
