This isn't the best Jazz album in the world, but it is also not the worst. Chick Corea is one of the foremost keyboardists in the Jazz genre, and has been for some time. In this particular album, he makes use of a Fender Rhodes Electric Piano, which has an unmistakeable and an impossibly reproducible sound(keyboards of the modern digital age with their electric piano emulation cannot compare with the original warm Fender Rhodes sound). That is, perhaps, one of the main reasons why I bought this particular album; I love the sound of a Fender Rhodes. The songs "Blue Miles", "Silhouette", and "Space" are, in my opinion, the best on the album. "Blue Miles", as the name would imply, is based heavily in the blues, has a great groove, and has a fairly nice sax solo. "Silhouette" is an introduction to "Space", and together they are mellow and quite relaxing. The album as a whole is pleasant and enjoyable. If you like Jazz, Chick Corea, or the sound of Fender Rhodes Electric Pianos, then this album would probably interest you. Don't just take my word for it; buy it, check it out for yourself.Read full review
