The main song is panama red a great tune from the late 70’s it brings back memories. The whole CD is great south western smooth music, with great steel guitar. It’s not country western and not rock n roll, I love almost all genres from big band, classical, orchestra, rock, alternative, jazz, blues, blue grass n country rock, not so much opera or hip hop n rap. This band can please almost all. I recommend it

This is the forth album by the New Riders of the Purple Sage, it was released in 1973. This album and their second album "Powerglide" both did well on the Billboard charts. This album benefits from having a famous country music producer help polish things up a bit. The CD cover folds out, and has the Panama Red comic strip that came with the original album on the back. I would recommend the CD to people wanting to check out the New Riders, and would say it's must have CD for fans.
