My first time listening through Past Lives brought back many memories. I first started listening to Black Sabbath and these songs in 1973. The lyrics and music in this disk unleashed a barrage of thought and emotion. Something was tapping deep into my social conscience. I was unable to comprehend what I felt. I couldn’t even begin to try and understand what it all really meant. But I tried. It was so different from anything else I had heard. The music blared and shook my fragile mind. Ozzy sang while screaming his dares. Preaching and demanding for all to get up and pay attention to the spiritual sickness in the world. Yet, at the same time I heard quiet and peaceful tranquil thoughts to live by. And so I listened, over and over. The content of these songs spoke and were powerful enough to shift my thinking and change my life. It was slowly becoming apparent to me that my innocent and idealistic views where being smashed one by one. All those sugar coated realities of life eroded. Life went from sit back and enjoy, to getting up, getting out, and fighting the injustices. It all seemed so important. Socially relevant causes became topics to not just talk about, but work towards. Life became seeing the evils, and painfully realizing the beautiful. Come to think of it…not much has changed. Well worth buying and listening to again and again!! -CowboyDylanRead full review

While this is a must for true Sabbath fans, it isn't the best recording. it's a polished up bootleg. Those used to fine CD quality, may be a bit dissapointed.
good stuff
