The sessions for their follow-up LP, Point of Know Return, were filled with tension as singer/songwriter Steve Walsh, who had always been uncomfortable with the artistic direction of the band, left the group briefly. Years later, Walsh would admit in an interview with nationally-syndicated radio host Redbeard on the weekly rockumentary series In the Studio with Redbeard (edition #849, week of 9/27/04 and again on the 30th Anniversary Episode for Point of Know Return in 2007) that he had been something of a prima donna at this point.Read full review
I know many people call this A Classic and I mean their opinions no disrespect, nor this incredibly talented band, but 4 *s is all I got for these veteran rockers. Beyond the classic Dust in the Wind, there are some late 70s gems here, beyond their time. This is good Classic Rock: classy, catchy, creative, sensible. The sea-faring lyrics are interesting; these guys are good story-tellers and there's no stupid descriptions of female body parts to tend with. As long as Livgren was with the band, they rocked; although, some might find the keys a bit overboard in places due to the CDs era.

The sound dynamics with a stereo surround sound system are better than stereo. Some of the lyrics are a turnoff.
