Another great dose of Steven Wilson and Porcupine Tree! An awsome collection of moody, guitar, atmospheric synths, mellotron songs, with some guests (Robert Fripp and Alex Lifeson, which don't add a lot to the whole) Again Wilson dominate while Gavin Harrison and Colin keep the rhythm section cooking, but with a more prominent Richard Barbieri stands out with his beloved Prophet 5 (plus V Synth, and some other Analog synths) cranking out very catchy and memorable songs, I do miss some of the head trip they used before, but, hey, they are getting more media and fan attention than ever, so I guess they will be doing more accessible songs (please don't!)
Awesome prog-rocky CD with definite nods towards King Crimson, Gentle Giant, Yes and others. Check it out!

I had the music stream of the live concert Anesthetize, and loved the songs. I was unable to stream the studio version of these songs on US services so I looked for the CD online. It was an Atlantic release so I fear the band had licensing problems. Bad news for Porcupine Fans - but getting this on CD is awesome and well worth the extra space on the shelf - Highly recommended!

This is the CD to have in your collection if you want the best music has to offer. Beautiful melodies, with pounding rhythms and intelligent vocals make Porcupine tree a band to be reckoned with. The following is still small enough to feel like you're part of an AWESOME club where only you know the password. You'll be glad you listened, because you will want everyone you know to hear it
