Poor quality performance recorded during the bands POWER album tour. The cd setlist was really good and included their more classic hits as well. If only the recording could've been better.

I DON'T HEAR IT.THEY TRY TO REPLACE IT WITH ELECTRIC KEYBOARD??? NOT CUTTING IT. NOW THE SONG (TOMB 19) IS THE THE SONG THAT ALMOST BRINGS ME BACK TO THE KANSAS THAT I LOVED WHILE RIDING IN THE BACK SEAT OF MY BROTHER 64 DODGE DART WITH MY 1ST LOVE LISTENING TO THE AWESOME STORIES AND THE VIOLINS BOUNCING BETWEEN SPEAKERS BUT AGAIN THE VIOLIN WHICH IN THE 80'S WAS SO PROMINENT IN ALL THEIR SONGS BACK THEN IS MISSING.VOCALS ARE STILL AWESOME AND THE POWER IS STILL THERE AND I SAW THEM IN CONCERT ABOUT 8 YEARS AGO AND THEY SOUNDED JUST LIKE IN THE 80'S WITH THE VIOLIN AND EVERYTHING BUT THIS CD MISSES THE MARK THAT I EXPECTED FROM THIS AWESOME BAND.Read full review
This album from Kansas is pretty good considering the lack of airplay and popularity. It marks Steve Walsh's return to the lineup after a 2 album absence (Streets). I think the musicianship is solid - the music is well written and some of the songs rock pretty hard. Sure it sounds like many other rock albums of the 80's, but it WAS the 80's. If you are a Kansas fan and have avoided this period of their career (as I did for years) check this one out - I don't think you will be disappointed.
The reason why I bought this cd is because I am a huge fan of Kansas. I have almost every other album made from them except the newest ones. I love this cd. I used to own this CD but a few years ago, the cd was finally scratched to the point of no return. So I got a new one and now am happier than ever. It has a lot of awesome songs on it. It's a must buy from any Kansas Fan
