Multiple award winning singer/songwriter Jean Prescott wears her western heritage as comfortably as a well broken in pair of boots. A native of Texas, her songs reflect the way of life she holds dear and have they have entertained fans of all ages over the past 20 or more years. Jean has been recognized by the State of Texas for her contribution to the preservation of it's western heritage through her stories in song. And, her velvet smooth alto voice graces an exhibit in the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame and Museum in Fort Worth, Texas. Jean's songs have been sung recorded by countless recording artists across the nation. Known as 'The Songbird of the Prairie', Jean's songs are always toe-tapping good! Her projects include CDs about women of the west, pure cowboy songs, gospel songs, patriotic songs and western swing. However, 'Traditions' is shaping up to be her best by far.
