I can't believe that this CD is almost 20 yrs old now. But on that note it sounds and rocks like it was done today. Neil,Geddy and Alex have been rocking for over 30 yrs and this CD was recorded at that mid point. Great now and great then. The sounds is pristine and strong at the same time. Excellent CD and well worth the rock n roll journey. Peart sounds superb and his lyrics are interesting as always. Geddy Lee,what a bassist and underratted as a vocalist do a servicable job thru out. Alex Lifeson, this guy should be a top 10 guitarist but seems to slide under the radar. he really shouldn't at all Fine Band Fine CD
This is my favorite Rush album after their synth driven 80s era albums (which I also love). Took me a while to get used to it because I cut my musical consumption on new wave, synth pop, alt rock, etc., Each and every song on this album kicked butt. I have the original pressing on this CD in storage so I wasn't able to do an A to B comparison regarding the sound quality and I sure hope the remaster didn't follow the trend of the "loudness" wars of the late 90s regarding remastered, re-released albums.

Another masterful piece from the Rush trio. The recording is fair but the music and lyrics are awesome. If you are a Rush fan don't let this one fall between the cracks. I recommend this piece of work highly.
