I purchased this cd after good reviews by my fellow PRIMUS fans, but it took a few months to get me to that point. I'd say i'm an average PRIMUS fan in that, the hits got me hooked on the band, the best of CD took me further, i bought a few of their CDs (sailing the seas of cheese, frizzle fry, pork soda) and like most of the songs off them, but i can't talk in depth about the meaning of every song nor do i like every song PRIMUS makes. Going to PRIMUS concerts definitely helped me purchase this album because the songs that "jam" for a while or repeat lyrics are aren't usually what i go for, but now they have an experience that goes with them. So the songs i'd recommend listening too Lee Van Cleef, Tragedy's A Comin', Moron TV, Last Salmon Man, Eyes of a Squirrel, and Jilly's on Smack, Eternal Consumption Engine isn't bad either. The best advice i'd give, is to buy this CD and go see PRIMUS in concert!Read full review
Yet another of Claypool adventures in Lead bass guitar playing! This one somewhat more melodic than others! Don't worry though this is pure Primus! Just saw 👀 them play Rush's A Tribute to Kings👑 and they were great....Very cool 😎.🎸🍄🐊🗿🃏🎵🎶🆒🎼

this is classic primus!! great lyrics over some fantastic playing! the song "lee van clief" is awesome! i didnt even know this cd existed but im so glad i found it!! great addition to the collection.
