There is a reason that these CD;s sell for a significantly higher-than-usual price, and it's not entirely the small supply. Sometimes a performance has all the elements: combining performers, audience, engineers and personalities into that synergy which raises the event into a magical experience. It happened in Denmark with Procol Harum. There is a video of this concert- and that's how I learned of it- fortunately a few CD's were made. If you're lucky you can acquire one of them.

There was a time in the late Sixties and early Seventies when rock music went as far as it could in pushing the edge of the envelope of technical achievement. At the point where the art bands out of England like Emerson, Lake & Palmer were performing with symphony orchestras, there was no place for rock to go except back to its roots via the Sex Pistols and the punk rock revolution of the late Seventies. But when it comes to symphonic rock, no one put it together quite like Gary Brooker and the boys of Procol Harum in their immortal classics "A Salty Dog" and "Conquistador." And as long as people listen to music on this planet, someone somewhere will be playing "A Whiter Shade of Pale". Wanna know why rockers--other than Peter Gabriel or Elton John--don't play with orchestras these days? Because they can't top Procol Harum. Murray Silver Author, "Great Balls of Fire"Read full review
Great Cd I love the way it was recorded and the story of when the new organ player asked for a bit more chello and the sound guy replied which one ? well that is the kind of attention to detail that all concerts should have .All and all a grat concert and recording ,Nelson DeCoteau
